FAQ
Q: WHAT IS THE RUNNING TIME?
A: The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show runs approximately 55 minutes with no intermission.
Q: WHAT DOES A VIP TICKET INCLUDE?
A: VIP tickets are the closest seats to the stage and include a swag bag, an Eric Carle plush, and a character meet and greet after the performance.
Q: ARE GROUP SALES AND PRIVATE BUYOUTS AVAILABLE?
A: Yes, please fill out the form on our
group sales page for purchases of 10 or more tickets.
Q: CAN I BRING A STROLLER?
A: There is limited space in the venue and strollers will be stored without supervision next to the Box Office. If it’s possible for you and your family, we strongly recommend leaving your stroller at home.
Q: CAN I TAKE PICTURES? WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY?
A: No photography is permitted during the show – it is distracting to performers and discourteous to other audience members. Puppets will come back on stage after the show (with better lighting) for photo opportunities. For a special post-show photo with the Hungry Caterpillar, patrons should purchase VIP tickets. Patrons can also purchase the Photo Op at the merch stand in the lobby.
Q: IS MY CHILD TOO YOUNG FOR THIS SHOW?
A: Our audience members range from 6 months to 96 years old. We recommend the show for all ages! And we never encourage children to be quiet – our only request is that their accompanying adults leave phones turned off until after the show!
Q: CAN MY CHILD SIT ON MY LAP?
A: Lap seats are available for children under one which are purchased at the door for $10. If your child is over one you are still very welcome to seat them in your lap but a full ticket will need to be purchased. CASH is preferred for Lap Seat purchases.
Q: MY CHILD IS ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM / HAS SENSORY ISSUES. IS THIS SHOW SUITABLE?
A: Yes! ALL our shows are inclusive and have been designed to be autism friendly and open to children and families with sensory issues. A quiet area is also available in the foyer during the show for any nervous attendees while the show is running.

Q: WHAT IF MY CHILD IS AFRAID TO ENTER THE THEATRE?
A: This is not entirely unusual for first-time theatre-goers. Our experienced House Manager is ready to assist and can show the child pictures from the show and get them comfortable so they can ease their way into the theatre at their own pace.
Q: IS MERCH AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THE SHOW?
A: Yes! There is a merch stand in the venue lobby.
